General
Where is Land Watch based?
Land Watch is based on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia and we travel all across Australia and New Zealand.
Do I need to be tech savvy?
No! As much as you knowing tech is a bonus, we want to leave the farming to you – let us worry about the technical stuff!
The Cameras
How will I know if Land Watch cameras will work on my property?
All of our equipment have been tested in some of the harshest and most remote areas of the country, we have systems working today on 5 acres right up to 1,000,000 acres.
How long does the camera footage last for?
Cameras are set to record on any motion (notify only on vehicles and humans). So depending on how much motion you have, generally the cameras will store footage for a minimum of 2 weeks.
Do I need a special camera for number plates?
If your goal is to catch number plates coming and going from your property, then you will need to grab one of our ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) cameras. These camera systems will recognise and record number plate digits providing a log with time and date stamped photos.
Connectivity
How do I know if my connectivity is good enough on my property?
We always find the easiest way to figure this out is to head out to where you would like your cameras, and watch an online video. If this is possible, the system should work fine. If it’s struggling you might need an antenna upgrade and if it doesn’t load at all, then we can look at other options.
Pricing
Are there any on-going costs?
The short answer is no there isn’t, unless you go with a 4G system! This is all taken into consideration when deciding what is best for your property.
